Where it started
Jim Blackburn has been asking the same question since he was seven years old, watching animals love their young without thinking about it — without choosing it. Is love voluntary? Or does it just happen, automatic and unconditional, before thought?
That question — asked first in a college philosophy class at nineteen, asked again while reading the Bible cover to cover at forty, and asked one more time in the document that became TwoSoldiers.org — is the thread that runs through everything he builds.
Not a product. Not a platform. A reckoning.
A brief introduction
Jim is a top-producing mortgage professional based in Fort Lauderdale, where he and his wife Olga also operate a real estate practice. He has spent more than twenty years helping families build wealth through homeownership — and the same disciplined, long-game mindset that built that career is what underwrites TwoSoldiers.org.
He is also a writer. He is currently completing a memoir titled My Journey Home, and a thirteen-book spiritual fiction series called The SonFlower and the Bear — both built around the same question that drives TwoSoldiers.
In the long run, Jim is preparing to run for Mayor of Fort Lauderdale on a platform built around the methodology he developed, called Character Branding® — the idea that public ventures should be anchored to a single, durable conviction rather than to shifting opinion.
